Dr. Kathryn Alderman, EMBA.B2AI Communication Expert | Knowledge Engineer.

Everything your company knows about how it runs is gathered, safeguarded, and structured into a private Business Brain. That one foundation then does two jobs: it drives reliable automation across your operations, and it gives AI platforms the clear, verifiable information they need to put your business forward.

One Business Brain. Automation on the inside, AI recommendations on the outside.
  1. Step 1

    Capture and secure.

The expertise in your people's heads becomes a protected, structured knowledge base.

  2. Step 2

    Put it to work internally.

Agents and workflows run your front office from that knowledge.

  3. Step 3

    Get chosen externally.

AI assistants recognize your business and recommend it by name.

B2AI Communication (Business-to-AI) is the discipline that connects the three. B2C is how a company talks to consumers and B2B is how it talks to other companies; B2AI is how it talks to the AI systems that increasingly decide which businesses get seen, trusted, and recommended. The practice comes down to organizing a company's knowledge so AI can interpret it, operate from it, and vouch for it, inside the walls and out in the market.

01About

I work as a B2AI Communication expert and knowledge engineer.

The core of the job is simple to state and hard to do: take what a business actually knows, most of it undocumented and held by a handful of experienced people, and turn it into a structured, secure knowledge base that machines can use. I call that asset the Business Brain. Once it exists, two things become possible. Inside the company, AI agents and automated workflows can run on the same rules and judgment the best employees apply, instead of guessing. Outside the company, AI systems can describe and recommend the business accurately when a prospective customer asks them who to trust.

I bring Johns Hopkins training in agentic AI, MIT training in AI product development, an Executive MBA, and nineteen years as founder and CEO of a multi-location service organization. The method was proven in healthcare and is built for any customer-facing business where trust comes before the first call.

02What I do for clients

Knowledge engineering.

Structured discovery, process mapping, and documentation that bring procedures, policies, pricing exceptions, and service definitions into one machine-readable knowledge base that every AI tool and every team member shares.

Agents and workflow automation.

Custom-built AI agents and automations integrated with the systems a client already owns (phones, scheduling, CRM, practice or case management, email): intake and front-office communication, follow-up journeys, onboarding and training, revenue-cycle support. Built and connected by hand rather than resold from a platform, with HIPAA-aligned governance and an AI security review included.

AI visibility with Semantic XEO™.

A proprietary method for making a business legible to AI engines: entity and schema engineering, structured proof of authority, consistency across every surface AI reads, and quarterly measurement of what those engines say and recommend.

Fractional AI Transformation Officer.

For groups and multi-site organizations, one accountable executive for the entire rollout: strategy tied to revenue and margin, vendor consolidation, change management, and staff adoption.

03Training and credentials

  • Johns Hopkins University, Whiting School of Engineering, Certificate in Agentic AI (2026). Agent architecture, multi-agent orchestration, tool use and retrieval, evaluation and safety. Semantic XEO originated in this program.
  • MIT, executive education in AI product development. How AI-driven products are conceived, built, and brought to market.
  • Quantic School of Business and Technology, Executive MBA (2025). Finance and accounting, strategy and competitive analysis, marketing and growth, operations and supply chain, data-driven decision-making, leadership and organizational design, entrepreneurship and venture finance.
  • Certified AI Security Specialist (CAISS). AI risk, governance, and secure deployment.
  • Foundational degrees. Doctor of Dental Surgery, University of Nebraska Medical Center; B.S. Biochemistry with a minor in mathematics, University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

04Career

Founder and CEO, Intelligent Care Alliance

Florida · 2024 to present

Knowledge engineering and AI strategy for customer-facing service companies, with healthcare and professional services as the first proving ground.

  • Capture and secure. Builds private Business Brains: draws out the operating knowledge held by owners and senior staff, organizes it into one protected knowledge base, and puts governance and HIPAA-aligned controls around it.
  • Put it to work internally. Designs and deploys AI agents and workflow automation on clients' current systems, spanning intake and front-office communication, follow-up, onboarding, and revenue-cycle support, all operating from the same knowledge the team uses.
  • Get chosen externally. Engineers AI visibility with Semantic XEO™ so that the major AI assistants find, describe, and recommend the business correctly, measured against a baseline at 30, 60, and 90 days.
  • Lead the transformation. Serves as Fractional AI Transformation Officer for groups and multi-site organizations: strategy linked to revenue and margin, vendor consolidation, change management, team adoption.
  • Voice in the industry. Recognized thought leader on AI for service organizations: author of The AI Advantage, writer of many published articles and industry reports, co-host of the Intelligent Conversations podcast, and speaker at national healthcare and business operations conferences.

  • Founded and scaled a multi-location healthcare group into one of the largest in the state, with full P&L ownership, leadership of clinical and front-office teams, operations and systems design, marketing, and growth strategy, through to exit.
  • Developed the operating playbooks and the scheduling, intake, and revenue-cycle systems that now inform the knowledge architecture and automation delivered to clients.

05Methods and tooling

Capture and secure.

Large language model platforms and agent frameworks; retrieval-augmented generation over private knowledge bases; vector embeddings and vector databases; structured knowledge files (JSON, JSON-LD, llms.txt); knowledge graphs and entity modeling, including Google Knowledge Graph alignment.

Put it to work internally.

Custom agents and automations on existing client systems; voice and messaging intake integrations; HIPAA and compliance workflows built with LLMs, including PHI handling, audit trails, and vendor assessment; the CAISS security framework.

Get chosen externally.

Schema.org and JSON-LD entity engineering, llms.txt, structured citation and authority signals, cross-platform consistency audits, AI-engine answer measurement; WordPress and Lovable for deployment.
